North Florida Chapter

It is both an honor and a privilege to serve as the incoming president of the North Florida Chapter for the Society of Certified Public Managers. I am excited about the year ahead and the opportunity to work alongside each of you to strengthen our chapter and expand our impact.

As we move forward this year, our focus will be on engagement, growth, and modernization. We will place a strong emphasis on hosting more frequent events, including professional trainings, development workshops, and meaningful social gatherings. These opportunities are essential for building relationships, sharing knowledge, and supporting one another as public service professionals.

We will also work to improve how we use technology across the chapter. This includes clearer communication, more effective virtual engagement, and tools that make it easier for members to stay informed, connected, and involved. Leveraging technology will allow us to reach more people and operate more efficiently as an organization.

Growing our membership is another key priority. By welcoming new members and re-engaging current ones, we can broaden our perspectives, increase our influence, and ensure the long-term strength of our chapter. Each of you plays a vital role in this effort, and I encourage you to invite colleagues and peers to join us in this important work.
